RECENT NEWS - The Confucius Institute of Rutgers University, together with the Feng Yun Go School, hosted a regional go tournament on April 1. Click here to see the tournament report.
Feng Yun teaches weiqi (go) students to recognize and apply fundamental patterns of play, and to think logically about how to combine these elements in their games. Classes and workshops use a combination of lectures, problem book exercises, supervised play, tournaments, game reviews, and a variety of technical studies (e.g., openings, endgame, tesuji). Students are grouped according to their experience, and receive instruction suited to their individual strengths and weaknesses. In addition to teaching weiqi, Feng Yun helps students develop good study habits and proper behavior which are generally useful in life. Feng Yun teaches students of all levels and ages.
Registration for academic year 2017-2018 classes in Edison and Parsippany is now open.
Feng Yun is now accepting applications for private lessons. If you are interested, then please contact Feng Yun.
