Presidential Gift
A go set was given by President Barack Obama of the United States
to President Hu Jintao of China
on the occasion of President Obama's first trip to China in November 2009.
- The board was made by a woodworker in North Carolina.
- The bowls were made by a glassblower in California.
- The jade stones were donated by Feng Yun.

Hand-crafted Go Board
The board was hand-crafted using Hawaiin koa wood provided by the State Department.
Hawaii is President Obama's home state.
